TINTINARA AGED HOMES

The Coorong District Council owns four aged home units located on Wendt Terrace, Tintinara, of which two are resident-funded and two are subject to rental agreements. The units are managed by the Tintinara Aged Homes Committee, which is a Section 41 Committee of Council under the provisions of the Local Government Act 1999.

Expressions of interest currently being sought

An opportunity has arisen for interested person(s) to apply for residence of a vacated unit at the Tintinara Aged Homes.

The brick veneer independent living unit (approximately 87sq²) is located on Wendt Terrace, Tintinara with three neighbouring units (all tenanted).  Council undertakes maintenance on behalf of residents and a designated committee exists to handle day-to-day enquiries.

A weekly resident funded maintenance charge is applicable for eligible residents in accordance with Council’s Fees and Charges schedule ($51.00 per week as per 2018/19).

This rare opportunity invites potential residents to take advantage of the sought after retirement village whilst also being in close proximity to Tintinara’s services and senior citizens social group.
