 Coorong Conversation Matters

Council held four 'Conversation Matter' suicide prevention forums and discussions in Tailem Bend, Meningie, Peake and Tintinara in late 2015. Community Members can participate in any of the Coorong Suicide Prevention Network (SPN) meetings.

Connection with People Workshops

Do you work with, support or provide services to South Australia's farmers, farming families or farming businesses, currently struggling with the impacts of drought?

Interested in receiving some targeted, informed support and guidance on how you can best assist others, who may be struggling to cope, and support your own resilience and wellbeing?

Primary Industries and Regions SA(PIRSA) and the South Australian Suicide Prevention Network are hosting a series of Connecting with People workshops.

Menswatch Program - Expression of Interest

Seeking expressions of interest for the Menswatch Program to be delivered in the Coorong area. It's a program for MEN ONLY, and is a way of providing men in rural and remote communities with the knowledge and skills to be able to 'look out for' and support other men.

The program is presented by a male and is proposed to be delivered in June 2018. If you are interested in the program, please submit the EOI return slip, available to download from the link below:

Hard copies of the EOI form is also being distributed via a letter box drop in Tailem Bend and the community newsletters in Meningie and Coonalpyn.
