There are four School Community Libraries in the Coorong District Council, located at Tintinara, Meningie, Coomandook and Tailem Bend.

School community libraries, a partnership between the Department of Education and Child Development, Local Government and the Libraries Board of South Australia, are a successful collaboration to provide public library services to rural and remote communities.

SA library customers can now use any public library across SA with a single card, and have access to over 4 million items. Members can borrow and return from any library in the State.
