Local events help bring our communities together, create opportunities for connection and showcase everything the Coorong district has to offer. To support community organisations and volunteers, Coorong District Council offers free promotion of eligible events through Council's communication channels.

Council can help promote your event to a wider audience at no cost through:
- Council's online Event Calendar
- Council social media channels
- Community newsletters and publications
- Visitor information outlets
- Other Council marketing and communication activities where appropriate

Who Can Submit an Event?
This service is available to:
- Community groups
- Sporting clubs
- Not-for-profit organisations
- Volunteer-led groups operating within the Coorong district
What Information Do I Need to Provide?
To help us promote your event, please include:
- Event name
- Date and time
- Location
- Event description
- Contact details
- Website, booking or registration information (if applicable)
- Event image or promotional artwork

Adding your event is quick and easy. Simply complete the online Event Submission Form and provide the required information. Events submitted early have the best opportunity to be included across Council's various promotional channels.
