Dog Registration
Dogs and Cats Online (DACO) is an online system that is used for all registration payments, micro-chipping and breeder information.
As of 1 July 2018, the following information is applicable for all dog and cat owners, breeders in South Australia:
- All registrations and renewals are now online
- Micro-chipping of dogs and cats is now compulsory
- De-sexing is compulsory for all dogs and cats born after 1 July 2018
- Anyone who breeds or sells a dog or cat must register with the Dog and Cat Management Board as a breeder
