Footpath Renewal Program
Project Summary
Council undertakes a review of all assets each year to identify a program or renewal.
The footpath renewal program will consist of a list of footpaths which have been identified through Council's asset management system and inspected on site to ascertain current condition.
This project has been funded by the Coorong District Council.

Community Engagement
Coorong District Council invited feedback on the draft 2022-2027 Footpath Network Expansion Strategy at the beginning of 2022. The Strategy sets the criteria and structure to guide the expansion of Council's current footpath network in a systematic and financially sustainable approach.
The final Strategy was adopted in February 2022, and includes a five-year delivery program which outlines the annual capital investment required to construct new footpaths.
