Coorong Infrastructure & Assets Committee

The Coorong Infrastructure & Assets Committee was formed in May 2019 under Section 41 of the Local Government Act 1999 for the broad purpose of advising, monitoring and assisting and making recommendations to the full Council on matters relating to infrastructure and assets management.

At a minimum, committee meetings will be held quarterly and the minutes are tabled at the following Ordinary Council meeting.

Important Notice regarding Public Attendance

On 31 March 2020, Local Government Minister Stephan Knoll issued the first COVID-19 related emergency variations to the Local Government Act 1999 – in the form of the Electronic Participation in Council Meetings Notice (No 1) 2020. This Notice allows council and committee meetings to be conducted by electronic means.

From 7 April 2020 and onwards (while COVID-19 social distancing measures are required), Audit & Risk Committee meetings will be held with Council Members participating via electronic means. Members of the public can access meeting recordings via Council's YouTube channel.
