Footpath Network Expansion Strategy
Footpaths play an essential role in our community’s health and wellbeing – they connect us to services, community facilities and shared open spaces – so it’s important to ensure Coorong footpaths are serving our community’s unique needs.
The 2022-2027 Footpath Network Expansion Strategy sets the criteria and structure to guide the expansion of the Council’s current footpath network in a systematic and financially sustainable approach.

To make Coorong communities more liveable, better connected and encourage physical activity, a staged delivery program has been proposed which will ‘close the gap’ to ensure the community’s footpath needs are met.
