A well-rounded strategic leader with skills in urban and regional planning, economic development and project management. Myles has a broad knowledge of local government and strategic planning expertise, providing effective leadership with an emphasis on regional growth. With an extensive career spanning over 30 years in senior management, Myles is adept at creating and sustaining healthy business and community relationships.
Myles holds Degrees in Economics, Urban and Regional Planning and additional qualifications in Environmental Health. He is also an Accredited Professional Planner and is Coorong District Council's appointed Assessment Manager under the Planning, Development and Infrastructure Act 2016.
Myles has worked in a number of regional areas and has a strong emotional connection to the Coorong district, having started his own local government career with the Meningie District Council in 1983.
