Sealed Roads Renewal Program
The Sealed Roads Renewal Program will undertake resealing / reconstruction on Council sealed roads which are below a satisfactory service level. The renewal program is based on age of existing road and condition recorded.
2023/24 Road Priorities
- Poltalloch Road - Pavement stabilisations and new seal 3km
- Kulde Road - Heavy patching on eastern approach to rail crossing
- Tauragat Well Road - Isolated seal reconstruction on critical bend
- Tynan Road - Asphalt to intersections at Kruger Road, Jones Road, Lynn Road, Parkin Hall Road and Flowery Plain Road
- Pettet Road - Pavement stabilisations and new seal
- Lime Kiln Road - Pavement stabilisations and new seal
- Kulkawurra Road - Reseal with some minor pre-seal patching
- Coorong District Council – Provision of Railway Corridor Road Upgrades
- re-sealing works at the Frost Road Railway Crossing in Ki Ki (Complete)
- re-sealing works at the Boothby Road Railway Crossing in Culburra (Complete)
- road repairs at the Hanna Well Road and Williams Road Railway Crossings in Coomandook (Complete)
Works Currently Underway
Update - 17 April 2024
Works are planned to commence on Monday, 22 April 2024 at several locations across the district as funded through the annual sealed roads renewal program. The works to be undertaken are as follows:

All works are anticipated to be complete by Friday, 3 May 2024.
Motorists are advised that Work Zone Traffic management will be in place (with speed and lane restrictions) whilst the works are occurring. Members of the public are asked to be mindful of plant and personnel that will be in the area and on site.
