Council in Community Sessions
‘Council in Community’ sessions aim to actively engage and communicate with community groups and community leaders when Elected Members and senior staff visit different areas of the district. The sessions are an opportunity for community groups to:
- Ask questions of Council
- Share information with Council on your group’s current activities
- Speak to Council about a topic that is of importance to your group
The sessions are held quarterly across the district:
- 12:30pm on Tuesday, 3 March 2026 at the Coonalpyn Community Hall
- 12:30pm on Tuesday, 2 June 2026 at the Coorong Civic Centre, Tailem Bend
- 12:30pm on Tuesday, 1 September 2026 at the Tintinara Council Office
- 12:30pm on Tuesday, 1 December 2026 at the Lake Albert Golf Club, Meningie
The session format is quite informal. We note that there may be some questions raised by community members that require further consideration by Council - should this happen, then a response will be provided at a later date.
We look forward to our community's participation.
