Drought Support

South Australia is currently experiencing drought conditions due to an extremely dry season in 2024 which has continued into 2025. For the 19-month period since February 2024 much of the agricultural areas in South Australia have recorded their lowest rainfall on record, or rainfall conditions remain in severe deficiency.

Many primary producers and supporting industries within the Coorong District Council are currently managing the impacts of drought.

This page has been developed to provide residents and ratepayers with information about support available.
