How to get there

The trail is designed to provide you with lots of flexibility to start your canoe adventure, the trail route is divided into four sections to help you plan a safe journey based on your individual skill and fitness level.

The trail has two suggested locations to begin your journey, allowing you the option of choosing to go either up stream or down stream. These locations also provide ideal entry points into the river, making it easier to launch your canoe or kayak.

Dickson Reserve is located adjacent to the Tailem Bend ferry, follow the ferry signs on Princes Highway.

Wellington East boat ramp can be accessed via George Mason Street

Car Parking

There is car parking available at the two trail head locations, if you plan to start the trail from a different point along the route, there is also car parking available at Fred’s Landing and limited carparking at Murrayview Estate Reserve, Hector Road.
