Changes to Australia Post 'Billpay' Rates Payment Option

Due to an upgrade to Coorong District Council's financial management system, the Australia Post 'Billpay' option will not be available to ratepayers for the third and fourth quarter rates notice payments for the remainder of this financial year (this will affect payments due on 11 March 2022 and 10 June 2022).
Payments can still be made:
- By BPAY (details provided on your rates notice)
- By Phone (payment by credit card over the phone)
- In Person (cash, credit card or cheque)
- Online (visit www.coorong.sa.gov.au/council-services/online-services/payments)
Please note that BPAY reference numbers have changed for all rates assessments. Residents will need to update their reference numbers before making a BPAY payment.
The Australia Post 'Billpay' option will be reinstated from 1 July 2022.
