Upcoming Kerb and Gutter Works on Tiller Street, Tailem Bend

Published 8th June 2022
Public Notice

In line with its 2021-22 kerb and gutter replacement program, Coorong District Council will shortly commence works on Tiller Street in Tailem Bend.

Council will remove and replace damaged existing concrete kerbs and gutters along the western side of Tiller Street to ensure the longevity of this asset and address previously experienced drainage issues.

Works are scheduled to commence on Wednesday, 15 June 2022 and will take approximately two weeks to complete. Construction will be carried out on weekdays from 7:00am until 5:00pm (and some Saturday work may occur if required).

Please be aware that while works are being undertaken speed restrictions will apply around the work site. Residents are asked to take caution while works are carried out and take note of any speed or safety restrictions in place.

While Council will make every endeavour to minimise interruption, Tiller Street residents on the western side have been advised that their bin collection and access to their driveways will be impacted during this time.

Council thanks Tiller Street residents and the Tailem Bend community for their patience and cooperation while the work is completed and looks forward to the replaced kerb and gutter improving roadside drainage along Tiller Street.
