Coorong District Council acknowledges and pays respect to the Traditional Custodians of the land and waters, the Ngarrindjeri People and Ngarkat People whose ancestral lands are on which we meet today.

We acknowledge the deep feelings of attachment and relationship of Aboriginal people to country and pay our respects to Elders past and present. We also extend that respect to all First Nation People.
