Native Vegetation Heritage Agreement Grant Program
Who is eligible
Heritage Agreement owners*
*If you are an aspiring Heritage Agreement owner, the Native Vegetation Council would love to hear from you! The Native Vegetation Council are offering incentive payments to assist land holders establish new Heritage Agreements.
Purpose
NVHA Grant Program provides increased support to landowners to help them manage biodiversity on their properties.
This includes:
- Land management advice and site visits
- Grant funding
- Assistance with grant applications
- Training and networking events.
Amount
There are three tiers of grants available (GST inclusive):
- Micro (<$1,000)
- Medium (between $1,001 and $15,000)
- Large (between $15,001 and $100,000).
Grants can be for one-off activities or activities that span multiple years.
Grants are available for works on individual Heritage Agreements or works spanning multiple Heritage Agreements.
If your grant will be less than $15,000, a Heritage Agreement Officer will develop a simple Works Plans that will also be your grant application.
If your grant will be between $15,001 and $100,000, you will need to prepare a grant application. Our Heritage Agreement Officers will provide you a copy of the application and are available to assist you with this process.
Application due
The program will run from 30 March 2023 to 30 June 2026.
