Murray Coorong Trail

Project Summary

Construction of Stage 2 of the Murray Coorong Trail will see it continue from where it currently ends at 507 Narrung Road.

Construction of the trail will continue in a south-westerly direction along the southern side of Narrung Road for 4.5kms to the Seven Mile Road intersection. The trail will then continue 1.5km further down the western side of Seven Mile Road to the Coorong.

The trail will primarily be constructed on the road shoulder and adjacent road verge along property boundary fence lines within the road reserve to a width of 1.5m along Narrung Road, and a width of 1m along Seven Mile Road.

The surface of the trail will be a 100mm layer of compacted limestone rubble.

Project Status

Stage Two Construction - Commences 19 June 2023

Construction of Stage 2 of the Murray Coorong Trail will commence on Monday, 19 June 2023 and will take approximately three weeks to complete.

Work Zone Traffic Management schemes will be in place for the duration of the project. Whilst works are occurring, members of the public are asked to please be mindful of plant and personnel operating in the area.

Stage 2 construction of the Murray Coorong Trail will continue along Narrung Road and then onto to Seven Mile Road to the Coorong.
