Meningie Lions Park Revitalisation

Project Summary

Works to revitalise the Meningie Lions Park commenced in the week of 16th October 2023. These works have so far seen a freshen up of the area adjacent to the playground and Toilets, providing more open space for events and new contemporary park facilities.

The old and run down BBQ shelters were removed along with the remaining outdoor Gym Components, 2 Ash Trees and outdated picnic settings.

Two new shelters have been installed along with 2 new picnic settings at each. Existing BBQ’s will be shifted to the new shelter sites. Linking all these new components together are brand new Disability Discrimination Act compliant semi-exposed aggregate footpaths and shelter pads. In addition to these, a brand new outdoor gym will be installed at a new location adjacent to the path along the lakefront.
